The Memory Nest Make It Monday 25

It is the start of Autumn and time for another sketch challenge at www.thememorynest.blogspot.co.uk. This week i have created a Halloween card using the free downloads from Far far hill a blog where you can download all sorts of free papers and embellishments.

i made the hat pins using assorted beads and headpins. i used Anita's glossy accents to glue them in place with as it dries hard and clear.

I will be back with more Halloween card ideas on the 1st October along with the next sketch challenge later.

Fantabulous Roald Dahl School photos layout

A quick post on how to make this layout using the new Roald Dahl range from Papermania. I wanted to make a few pages using my photographs taken when i was at school and trust me it was a long time ago and no i do not miss Maths.

I made the background using a 12x12 sheet of white card stock and using the Artiste spritzing inks which i  splattered  across the page and left to dry.

These are little tags from the die-cut sentiments pack and i just staggered them

to make a circle frame take two nesting dies and place on the paper, placing a smaller sized die inside the other and hold in place with washi tape.

I used 3D foam Squares to make certain elements pop off the page.

The Memory Nest Make it Monday 24

Welcome and happy Autumn that time of year where everything turns a rich red and orange.  I introduce the first challenge of September with my sketch bellow. I wanted to design a sketch that will encourage us to dig into our stash and use it up so we have an excuse to buy more.  you can play along here www.thememorynest.blogspot.co.uk. most of all have fun and get creative.

As it is approaching holiday time i thought i would dig through last years photos and make an introduction page for this year's album. I have used a lot of different products i had laying around and it seems the more you use the more you end up with.
Thanks for looking and have fun.
