How To Create A Double Heart Shaker Card With ScraPerfect

Hello all

I have a card to share today. I used Best Glue Ever to glue the embellishments and shaker boxes together.

Start off by cutting out one large heart from patterned paper using a nesting die. Then one  from acetate for the top. Place a smaller heart die into the centre of the larger heart and secure with washi tape. Cut out two or more from craft foam. This depends on how deep you want the shaker boxes. Cut a frame from patterned paper.

Repeat the steps using a smaller pair of nesting dies and then glue the foam frames together before gluing to the base. once the glue has set, fill the boxes and then glue the top on. Add the frame cut from pattered paper over the top to cover the glue up.

Cover a blank card with paper and then stamp a texture stamp around the edges and in the centre. Glue down the shaker boxes.

Decorate with charms and flowers which were inked with bronze mist spray.

Finish with a sentiment

Swedish House Crafts Home Is Not A Place Greeting Card

Hello all

I have a shaker card to share using the  Houses Die Set by Gummiapan.

Cover a square card blank with patterned paper and tear a few strips of washi tape off and stick them to edges of the card.

For the shaker box i use craft foam instead of 3d sticky tape. First i find the two die sizes i want to use and then i place one inside the other and hold in place with washi tape.  I  then cut one or two frames from the foam and one from patterned paper.

Next i cut the largest die from paper and from acetate. The foam frames i glue together, you can do more to create a deeper box. I glue the foam frames onto the rectangle cut from the patterned paper  and once the glue has dried i then add the micro beads and sequins. Then i seal it with the acetate and add the frame cut from patterned paper.

Glue lace along the back of the shaker box and then cut out three of the houses from patterned paper. Glue them to the front of the shaker box in a row and then add a sentiment to finish.
