Fallout Props Fixer and Mint-Als Tins

Hi all

I am just sharing my altered tins. Fixer is from Fallout New Vegas and Mint-als was actually from a fanfic and not one of the older Fallout games like i though. Still it came out well so i am showing that too.

I sanded these first and then painted on DecoArt textured sand paste and left it to fully set. It sticks to metal better than the gesso and gives it a rusty texture.

I crumpled them and added Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a bit of quinacridone gold acrylic paint.

Here i added clumps of texture sand paste around the edges of the tin which i then painted to look rusty.
