Happy Easter everyone and now its nearly over and we've eaten too much chocolate. I have a nautical themed card for you. just to remind you that summer is around the corner.
I dusted off the Ahoy There stamps I've had since last summer and found that they worked well with this weeks club downloads. which you can find here www.docrafts.com.
ideally the screw brads from the Chronology range would also work well with this project but I didn't have any so the shimmer dome stickers were used instead. looks like I have another excuse to go shopping. here is the product code for the brads PMA 353201.
to make this card you first need to cover a square card blank with the textures monotone down loadable papers.
using the circle nesting dies from Xcut. place the second largest over the largest sized die cut. secure to cutting board with craft tape. cut the main frame out of blue textured card stock and then cut out a smaller one using the blue tone textured papers. you should now have to circle frames.
using a boat stamp, stamp image in centre of card and the stamp some waves at the bottom before colouring In with Artiste pens.
adhere the first frame over the stamped image leaving enough space to place the smaller frame in the centre. adhere the smaller frame using 3d foam dots and decorate with gold shimmer dots for rivets.
stamp out a banner and sentiment on to scrap paper and cut it out. adhere over the portal with 3d foam pads
