Hi today i thought i would spare you all from the usually fluffy and pink valentines theme and share with you something a little different. For these projects i have used the free Graffiti papers available free on the Docrafts site. you can get them here https://www.docrafts.com/Inspiration/Downloads/graffiti-collection/274
i used the Gorjuss girl A4 decoupage kits, the Gorjuss girl range will be returning in March so keep a look out for her. Most of this card was made using the free printable which include sentiments and an alphabet.
the basic principle behind mixed media is to add texture using a variety of inks and mediums such as gesso and texture paste. you can be as messy as you want or you can add a subtle amount. here i squeezed some Artiste Acrylic paint on to my finger and rubbed it around the edges to create this grungy frame. I cut the rose from the Xcut love icons die set and used black card to add to its Gothic look.
This is just a simple layered card using the heart punch and nesting dies
