Scrap Around The World August Challenge: Vacation layout


Hi all 

Here is my Entry for the Scrap Around the World August mood board. You can link up your projects here http://scraparoundtheworld.blogspot.co.uk/p/about-us.html. There are lots of prizes from the sponsors this month including a new one.



I loved this photo of Weymouth Harbor and i wanted to create a travel themed layout using the mood board bellow. I used the 7 Dots Studio Love is in the Air 12x12 paper sheet for the base.







I started off by using a Teresa Collins 12x12 stencil mask to add texture to the background. I then took a selection of Kaisercraft texture stamps and stamped them randomly around the page before adding Misters from 13arts


I spritzed a paper doily with Sepia and gold misters and cut it in half. 


I love this beaded trim i found in my local market and was waiting for the perfect project to use it on.

    I LOVE the LO Katie, We went to Weymouth in June, but only fleetingly and missed the harbour completely - which I regret now!
    Your LO has such depth and texture and the colours are fantastic

      The harbour is where all the best fish and chip shops are and the fish is caught fresh from the harbour.
