Pan Pastels Mixed Media Art Journal Let the sea set you free


Hi all 

I am back with another art journal page using Pan Pastels. There is more inspiration on the blog http://welove2create.blogspot.co.uk/


I used Turquoise and Phthalo Green Pan Pastels on the background. i then applied more Phthalo green over a stencil mask and dabbed water over the top to create a water effect.





I drew around the title with pen to make them stand our



i coloured the mermaid in using a mixture of alcohol pens and pastels. I used Turquoise for the main body and blended Phthalo Green around the edges and into the center. I then sealed it all in using a gel medium.

    OMGoodness - how amazing that is :-) I have never used Pan Pastels but they look very versatile.
