Things to Alter: Altered Birdcage for June

Hi all

I coated it in DecoArt Chalky finish paint. One coat of everlasting and then one coat of Weathered Wood crackle medium. I then used Serene for the final coat to get a nice cracked effect.

I used the flower grab bag and colored them in with DecoArt Metallic Lustre and Metallic s paints before gluing them to the cage.

I used the Curly Flourishes along the front and roof and decorated with pearls and brass flower charms.

I painted up the plastic candles like the ones from Poundland. The spiders and from PurpleDreamDesign and each one is different.
