Never Dull Your Sparkle Art Journal With Brushos

Hi  all

I have a fabulous art journal page to share using a variety of products available from Colourcraft.

Start off by applying white soft form paste using a stencil mask, Apply this down the centre of the page and a little over the sides.

Spritz with water and sprinkle over with Turquoise and use a paint brush to guide the colour over the page leaving a section in the middle of the page. Let the first colour dry and then apply Purple Brusho in the centre of the page, using a brush to blend the colours.

Stamp around the page with texture stamps and then apply black soft form paste in the edges of the page.

Cut out a heart from Lutradur and paint with white gesso. Use a heat gun to distress the Lutradur, This product melts when heat is applied and there are a lot of different effects to achieve depending on how much heat you use.

Allow this to dry and then Cut it in half and sew it down the middle with white thread.

Sprinkle Purple Brusho over the top. Use water to dilute the colour and then use a paper towel to remove excess ink.

Dye some white thread with Purple Brusho Powder and glue to the centre of the page so that it frames the heart

Use a lable maker to add text to the page. You could also print the words off using a computer and ink them to match the colours.

Thank you for visiting

  4. Wow - what a fabulous project. I have only just entered the world of Brushos. Stampin Up now has this product in their catalogue, and Colourcraft are only a few miles down the M1 for me!! I had a play for the first time this week, and look forward to doing more. Maybe I'll be able to do something similar to yours in a years time!! Super card, colours and design!!
