Hello All
Do you have a pen collecting problem but also really love coffee?
Well i have a solution for you.
Turn that coffee tin into storage for your huge pen collection!!
So crack out that coffee tin because now you have an excuse to empty it.
Products
Yellow decoupage papers
Washi tape
black card
white pen
embossing powder
Start off by coating the tine with two to three layers of white paint or until the print underneath is mostly covered.
Next mix PVA glue with water and paint onto the tin before adding the decoupage paper. Paint the glue both on the tin and over the paper to keep it all smooth.
Once dry take some wide washi tape and glue it along the centre of the tin.
Take a piece of plain card and stamp out enough flowers to cover the top and bottom of the tin.
I used watercoliour paints to colour them in
From the front label, Cut a small piece of black cardstock. Use the flower stamp from the Art Journal Mixed Media Stamp Set and use clear ink to stamp them onto the edges of the card. Use The Seth Apter Ancient Amber Embossing Powder over the to and apply heat to set. Use a white pen to add the a description to the front.
Glue the flower boarder around the top and bottom of the tin and add lace as well.
A few close ups of the finished project
