Scrap Around The World June Challenge
Local markets are a good source for buying textiles and other materials that you can use on your layouts.
I made the title using a large button and left over letters from various kits, I covered the v in ribbon to match the colour theme.
The bunting I cut out of some fake leather material from my stash to add texture to my layout.

Sketches in thyme sketch 115
im playing along with a series of sketch challenges at Sketches in Thyme http://sketchesinthyme.blogspot.co.uk/
I went and visited a tudor farm on my week off because it was something I hadn't done before. The weather in may wasn't very good it was cold with torrential showers.
I bought these mulberry flowers from Poundland which would be the UK equivalent of a dollar store.
I had a lot of chipboard alphas from an American crafts kit but found that there wasn't enough letters to make words with them so I coated them in gesso and painted them with acrylic paint to match the colour theme of my layout.

The Memory Nest June Colour Challenge
http://thememorynest.blogspot.co.uk/p/challenges.htmlThis month's colour challenge at The Memory Nest. Here is my interpretation of the colour challenge and yes its another layout about Gizmo. He likes having his photo taken .I decided to try a capture details about his personality because he's not your average cat and he plays up a lot but i don't always capture these moments on camera. one day i will.
the stamp I used to frame the photo is from Kaisercraft and is called botanical.

Guilty Pleasure
I'm playing along with this month's sketch challenge. the theme is guilty pleasures.@ http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.co.uk/. Whenever i go to the seaside i have to try their fish and chips, its one of our holiday traditions and being by the sea you know that the fish is fresh.
i decided to try out my new Kaisercraft 36 clear stamp and use up some old stash Ive had for years. for some reason i seem to have an endless amount of stash hidden away.
Washi tape has become my latest craft obsession so expect to see it on everything.
