Gecko Galz Mermaid ATCS

Hi all

It's time for another customer challenge over at the Gecko Galz group!! this month the theme is mid summer and i have a set of retro mermaid ATCs to share.


I used two digital sheets for this one 


I just printed out the sheets, cut out the pieces and then glued them into position.



I typed up the quotes and then i printed them, cut them to fit and then inked them up.


I finished off by adding little starfish and shell flatbacks.

Bleeding Art Challenge April Add Stenciling Easter ATC set

Hello all

I am back with another make for The Bleeding Art Challenge. This month the theme is to use stencils and our sponsor is StencilGirl(R). Please join us here 



I made a simple ATC Block set and stenciled on the blocks before painting them. The images are from the Gecko Galz Collage Sheets.


The top i decorated with mini eggs and other Easter bonnet decorations. I like to stock up when the sales hit ready for next year.

Artful Days Fairy ATCS


Hi all

I have these fairy ATCs to share today. Full details are on the Artful Days Blog Here 


  1. Stamp out the coffee stain stamps onto the base, cover with embossing powder and apply heat.
  2. Use watercolor paints to paint over the background.
  3. Apply a texture stamp over the ATCs
  4. Glue on sisal and apply heavy gel medium, sprinkle over embossing powder and melt with a heat gun.
  5. for the fairies, paint the body with Prima Texture Fantasy Paste. Apply heavy gel medium to the wings and use embossing powder to create the vibrant textures.
  6. Once the fairy is glued down, add Art balls, Sand, Deco Sprinkles and a word charm.

The Blank Page Muse Pen Letter ATC Set

Hi all

I have more inspiration to share with you all today with these ATCs made using The Blank Page Muse stamps. Keep reading to learn how to make them.





Use ink dabbers on a few blank ATCs.
Stamp over them with the writing stamp using red ink.


paint over the top with gesso
Stamp the Sketchy Doodle Bricks Pattern Stamp also with red ink.
Apply a stencil mask to ATCs


Stamp over the top with the Scratched Brick Pattern Texture Stamp
Stamp out the ink pot, pen tips and stamps onto card and cut them out.
Layer the stamps onto the ATCS.
Add yellow ink onto some card and then stamp on the quotes.

Gecko Galz Customer Challenge February Moonlight & Magic ATCs

Hello all
I am back with another make for the Gecko Galz February customer challenge which is Moonlight and Magic, So we will be seeing a lot of magical creations this month. The winner will receive $25 to spend in shop.




Products


The backgrounds are created by using a texture stamp as the first layer and then by adding a stencil mask over the top. Once it has all set i then painted over the top with Prima Watercolours.
I cut out the images from the toppers so they would fit the ATC and finished by adding the words.

The Blank Page Muse Stamps: Plenty Of Fish ATC Set

Hello all
Learn how to create this ATC set using stamps by The Blank Page Muse.


Products used
Blue Acrylic Paint
Turquoise Acrylic Paint
Purple Mist Spray 
Micro Bead
Glass Sand
Flat Backs
Heavy Gel Medium
Watercolour Paper
Artist Colouring Pencils



Start off by painting the ATC blanks with acrylic paint. Next add heavy gel medium to the bottom and then sprinkle with glass sand and micro beads.



Next take the net stamp from the Nautical 2 Set and stamp it across the top. 


Stamp out the images onto watercolour paper and then colour them in with watercolour pencils. Use water and a brush to blend the colours. Once dry fussy cut them out.



Once the background has dries, Glue down the images and then stamp out a few sentiments. Colour these in before cutting them out and gluing them in place.




Finish off each ATC by adding little embellishments like shells and pearls.

Craft Consortium Hackney & Co Wildflower Meadow Mixed Media ATC Set


Hello all

I have a set of ATCs made using the new Wildflower Meadow collection from Craft Consortium. 


Start off by covering the ATCS with gesso and then spray over the top with lime green, Blue and pink mist sprays. Allow one colour of ink to dry before spraying on the next colour.



Next add some stamping around the background.
Cut up pieces of lace, material and even dry baby wipes before spraying with ink and gluing onto the ATC.


Experiment with the layers until you are happy with them before gluing down.

Stamp out the insects from the Wildflower meadow stamp set and the mushrooms from the Winter Woodland set. Colour them with ink and then cut them out once the ink has dried.



Place the pieces onto the ATCS and once stuck down, decorate with gems and sequins.

Canvas Corp Brands Plays Well With Octopus Time From Blank Page Muse



Hello all

I have a new set of ATCs and a tutorial using Canvas Corp Brands and The Blank Page Muse Stamps.




Glimmer Mist - Patina
Chalkboard Mist Paint - Inchworm
High Impact Metallic Paint - Rose Gold
High Impact Metallic Paint - Copper
Architextures™ Junque Pack - Warehouse
Archival Ink Sepia, Turquoise and Navy Blue 



Use a Gelli Plate to add splodges of HIgh Impact Paint.



Once dry spray with Patina and Inchworm mist spray and allow i to dry.

Apply a stencil mask to the background using modeling paste



Dry brush on some Rose Gold and Copper High Impact Paint




Stamp out the Octopus Time images using coloured inks and then spray over with Patina mist spray




Tear up some tissue paper and spray with Patina and then glue to background.




Cut up the rusty tin texture from the Warehouse Junque Pack and sick it down.




Cut out the images and stick them to the ATC





Finish by adding words and pearls
