Black Archive safe ink
Blue ink
Marker pens
Art stones
Cheese Cloth
Turquoise ink
Turquoise paint

Stamp the art doll and wings out onto white card.

Colour them in using marker pens and decorate the doll with art stones.

Cut the pieces out and glue the wings onto the back of the art doll.

Paint a blank card with Turquoise and then apply a stencil mask over the top. Spray with turquoise ink and leave to dry.

Dye a few strips of cheese cloth with Turquoise ink and dry them off before gluing them to the card base. Apply a few thick blobs of modeling paste to the edges of the card and sprinkle over with art stones and glitter. Allow to set and spray with ink.

Glue the art doll to the center of the card and then create a sentiment using a label maker.

Paperbabe Stamps Design Team December Introducing The Fairy Wings Mixed Media Template

H all

I am back with a new product release for Paperbabe Stamps. This month sees the release of the awesome fairy wings which i have used to make this paper doll.

The wings template will work with both the mini and large doll templates. I drew mine onto white card and then used a blending sponge to blend blue ink over the template to create a lace effect around the edges. Then i finished off with some glitter glue.

The face is made up with the mini portrait template and mini Female Face stamp set. The pixie ears are from the new profile face mini stamp set

I made up the head dress using the Folk Fabrique Stamp Set and i coloured it in with Artiste Water colour pens

The fair was made with the Rag Tails Mini Portrait Template  which i coloured in with First Edition Marker Pens.

The top was coloured in by blending Pan Pastels together and i used the Folk Fabrique Stamps to add a pattern.

Paperbabe Stamps Design Team December Challenge A Sprinkle Of Glitter

                                                                        Hi all

I am back with a few very sparkly festive angels using the Paper Angels stamp set. I have used mine to make Christmas decorations but these can be adapted for any project. The Stamp set is on an A4 sheet and comes with an instruction guide. The angles are 14 cm tall once made up so they are a good size for altered art projects and cards.

I made the dresses out of Christmas themed paper and i used the First Edition Christmas Wishes pad as the paper is like thin card.

There are many different wings in the set and i used glitter card to make them with. I fussy cut the feathers and layered up the small wings with the large.

There are so many possibilities with this set so here are a few more ideas. They would make lovely tags that can be kept.

I had a lot of fun making these up and it is one of my favourite sets.

you can see more inspiration on the Paperbabe Stamps blog  and share your creations on our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/paperbabestampsfangroup/?fref=ts.

Thank you for visiting and i would love to see your creations.

I am back with another blog hop with Smeared and Smudged. This time i have made my first art doll and will be swapping it with one lucky crafter.  I used a free template for the doll and used scraps of patterned paper to cover the body and tops of the arms.

I used a paper doily for the skirt by cutting it in half and folding it to make pleats. I then layered the two halves together and glued it down. I used pleated fabric for the top of the skirt and decorated it with cogs.

The head is off a Kenny K stamp which i coloured the head and stuck it over the template. I used a free hat digi and decorated it with feathers.

the legs are decorated with the Kaisercraft grid stamp to look like fishnets and i made the boots by cutting scrap paper into a rough boot shape and added lace to the top.

The arms i stamped with a lace textured stamp to look like long gloves.
