Prickly Plants Planner Clips and Hunkydory Spectrum Noir ColourTint Review

Hello all

I was asked by Hunkydory to review some of their products, so today i will be reviewing the new Spectrum Noir ColourTint Pencils.

The pencils are so easy to use and they blend really smoothly

I used the Prickly Plants Stamp set and wanted to create some fun bookmarks with them.
I started off by stamping out the images onto card using Archival Ink. The images stamp out crisp and with no smudging.

I then use the ColourTint pencils to colour them in before cutting out the pieces. Next i used double sided tape to mount them onto thick card and cut them out. Finish off by adding a large blob of glue to the back and press the larger paper clips into the glue, leave them to dry overnight before using them.

The pencils can be used as they are or used as watercolour pencils by adding water. I used a water pen to colour the stamps and get a more vibrant colour.

Thank you for visiting.

Swedish House Crafts: How To Make Bright and Fun ATCs

Hi all

I am back with a fun set of ATCs for you using Gummiapan products from Swedish House Crafts. Learn how to create these below. My readers will get 5 % off their shop order by using the code  KATIESAID5OFF it is active for 5 days from the date of this post.

1) Use Metallic Lustre and paint onto a blank ATC.
2) Using the circle numbers stamp, Stamp out three lots down the ATC.
3) Apply a stencil mask using modeling paste and once dry, paint over with metallic lustre.
4)  Die-cut the linked stars out of white card and adhere to ATC.
5) Finish off by stamping out a sentiment and cutting it out. I cut the words up to reduce white space and fit them on the ATC better.

1) Use metallic lustre and blend two colours together using a make up sponge.
2) Use the Check texture stamp around the edge of the ATC
3) To create a ghost image stamp onto the centre of the ATC and then add gesso over the top.
4) Add a little blue paint and then stamp sentiment over the top again.
5) Die-cut the doodle circle from card and stamp over with the number circle stamp. Then paint with metallic lustre.
6) Apply a stencil with texture paste and then dry brush over the top with blue metallic lustre.
7) Finish with a pink ribbon rose

1) Die-cut the Intergrated Stars out of white card but cut out the negative part.
2) Place the negative onto the ATC blank and use the Numbered Circle stamp over the top. Draw around the negative like a stencil to get more defined edges.
3) Stamp the remaining ink off of the Numbered Circle stamp and onto the ATC background.
4)Paint blue metallic lustre around the stars.
5) Apply a stencil around the edges
6) Add a sentiment to the centre
