Hi all

Here is a look at the Christmas Romance Card Kit available at Cherish the Memory.

I just used the pieces provided to make up the cards which are really easy and quick to make up. I used some of the extra bits to change the layout a bit.

These ones have a lot of foil details on which gives them a festive feel.

How To Create A Spell Binding Halloween Card

Hello all

Here is another Halloween card made using Sin City Stamps.

Halloween Bingo Rubber Stamp Set

Halloween On a Shelf

Halloween patterned paper

White Card

Purple ink pad

Sepia ink pad

Brown ink

Crackle medium

White paint

Cover the card with patterned paper.

Stamp cob webs into the corners of the card.

Stamp the bingo stamp onto card stock and ink over with brown ink.

Allow to dry and then paint over with the crackle medium.

Once set dry brush with white paint and wipe off excess.

Stamp out potion bottles and brush with brown ink.

Add crackle medium to the bottles and once set dry brush with white paint.

Cut them out and adhere them to the corner of the bingo card.

Add a sentiment

Create This Elegant Tell The Bees Shaker Card

Hi all

I have a card made using the Tell The Bess collection.

Cover a 5 x 7 blank card with Tell The Bees Patterened paper.

Cut  a large rectangle out of gold honeycomb paper using a nesting die and glue to the edge of the card. Leave rougthly a 5 mm gap so that the bottom layer firms a frame.

Cut another smaller rectangle out and glue across the card. Add matching ribbon and trim to fit. 

To create a shaker box, take any nesting die of yout choice and take the largest size and place the next size down inside to make a frame. Secure with tape and then cut out one frame from foam and one from paper. If you want a deeper shaker box then cut a few extra foam frames and glue them together.

Seperate the dies and then using the largest size. Cut out a base from patterened paper and a top out of acetate.

Glue the foam frame to the base and leave to dry before adding sequins. Then glue the acetate frame to the top and once dry add the frame cut from pattetened paper. Glue this to the edge of the paper layers.

Finish ofc by cutting out the bees from the toppers sheet and gluing them to the shaker box.

A Quick And Easy Tote Bag With Fabric Paint

Hi all

I have a quick and easy tutorial on how to decorate your own tote bags using Colourcraft fabric paints. I used a canvas bag which are about a pound online so not too expensive and great as gift bags.

Draw a heart onto car or craft foam to make a stencil. i drew around a heart shaped plaque to get the shape. then using three fabric paints (Magenta, pink and red) I used the rubber end of a pencil to stamp around the heart with the paints.

I continued to stamp around the inside of the heart until it was full of colour. I places a bit of the fabric paint on to the lid and just dipped the rubber nib in to get the right amount of paint on the end.

Create a ombre effect by starting with the lighter colour and finishing with the darker colour. sometimes you need to go back over some of the dots to get a stronger colour.

The paint once dry is water proof and takes about a day to fully set.

How To Create A Adorable Penguin Tag

Hello craft friends 

I have a tag to share with you today and how easy it is to add glitter to projects using Best Glue Ever.

Use the landscape stamp to add the snow mounds to a plain tag.

Apply Best Glue Ever to the snow piles and spread the glue over. The glue will hold the glitter onto the project so it won't flake back off over time. This glue dries tacky instead of dry and brittle which is why it bonds so well with glitter and small embellishments. 

Apply fine white glitter and leave it to set.

Paint the top half of the tag with blue acrylic paint.

Stamp over the tag with the snow fall background stamp in dark blue ink.

Apply small blobs of Best Glue Ever to the tag using the Fine Tipped Nozzle add on.  Apply fine white glitter over the top and leave to dry.

Stamp out a penguin and colour in. Add white glitter to the belly and hat.

Add the hat and scalve to the penguin and add it to the tag

Finish the tag with a sentiment

Here is my first project using the Toxic Twins image

I covered a 5 x 7 card blank with Halloween themed paper and then used die cuts for the cob webs. The sentiment is cut out of foam.

I colored the image in using watercolor pastels and then cut them out before adding them to the card.

How To Create This Quick And Easy Mixed Media Tag

Hi all

I am back with a new project using some of the Gumiapan stamps and dies available at Swedish House Crafts. 

Start off by spritzing a plain tag with green ink and leaving it to dry. Use the  Collage Numbers set and stamp it along the edges of the tag in a dark blue ink. next take the Worn Chessboard stamp and stamp randomly around the tag in light brown. Add a stencil using modelling paste and once it has set,dry brush over with white metallic paint.

Using the Doodle Circle Die and cut out two circles from white card stock and spritz green and blue. Once dry cut one in half and glue to the edges of the tag and then glue the other circle over the top.

Stamp the I'm Not Weird stamp on to card and add colour in and cut out before sticking to the centre of the tag.

Little Crafty Bugs Rosey Nosey Rudolph Craft Ideas

I was recently sent a small Rosey Nosey Rudolph kit and was asked to blog a few ideas on how to use the kits. They are available from the Little Crafty Bugs website below.

The first idea i had was to create little whimsical reindeer tags using the Rosey Nosey Rudolph kit. I covered a blank tag with velum and then cut out a smaller tag using a die cutter and glued that to the centre. next i used a egg shaped nesting die to cut out the head from felt and glued it to the tag before adding the eyes,nose and antlers.

I used a box template to create these little boxes that can be used to keep little gifts in. The reindeer faces  add a whimsical feel to them

Learn How To Create This Entangled Octopus Time Card

Hello

I have a steampunk themed card made using the Octopus Time stamp set.

Cover a 6 x 6 blank card with brown paper and the half with pattetened paper.

Cut out a large hexagon from faux print style paper and glue to centre of card.

Stamp out the octopus lady onto white card using a purple ink pad. Use sepia coloured ink to colour over the white areas and then adhere to the edge of the hexagon. 

Stamp out the cog cluster onto card and colour in before cutting out and adding to the corner of the card.

Finish by adding a witty sentiment.

How To Create Cheap,Quick And Easy Craft Room Storage

Hi all

I am back with a tutorial showing you how to create a quick and easy set of draws using  mini draws found in the local craft store and Best Glue Ever.

To start off you need a set of wooden draws like these ones https://www.theworks.co.uk/p/home-decorations/decorate-your-own---twin-drawers/5052089204768

Coat them in gesso so that the top coat of paint is easier to apply. 

Paint the draws  fully and leave to dry before using rubber stamps to create a pattern.

Once the paint has dried off, Apply Best Glue Ever to the side of each pair of the draws. Glue them together and allow the glue to set.

Next appy Best Glue Ever to the feet of the draws and stack them on top of each other. This glue bonds strong with wood and will hold everything in place which other craft glues struggle with.
