The Blank Page Muse Inspiring Creativity Art Journal Pages

Hello all

I am back with a quick idea using the one of the new stamps released this month. This gorgeous background stamp is called Dare to Dream and i also used the Scribble Daisy Background stamp both of these are available in May's releases.

Paint the pages with gesso to stop the paint bleeding through to the page.
Paint the pages with a pale yellow acrylic paint and then allow to slightly dry before adding a light orange acrylic paint over the top, blend the colours a little before drying off fully.

Stamp the Scribble Daisy Collage Background stamp over the pages in embossing ink. The background does not have to come out perfect and it adds to the grungy look.
Sprinkle on orange embossing powder and once it has melted, allow to fully set before adding the Dare to Dream stamp.

Colour in sections with watercolour paints and once dry, take the Creativity word stamp and randomly stamp bits of it onto the pages. Finish off the page by adding a few sentiments.

StencilGirl Free Your Mind Art Journal Page

Hi all

I created  this simple art journal page using the new stencil by StencilGirl.

I coated the page with gesso and when that has dried, i spritzed ink over the top

I used blue acrylic paint over the stencil with the faces and then turned the stencil over and used the other side to get a mirror image. I then put a bit of magenta on my finger and stamped away.

Hi all

Another journal page using the new Girl001 stamp set from Artful Days.

So the background is made with a Gelli Plate, nothing complicated just keep adding paint layers until it looks ok ish. Once dry use the texture stamps on the background and then use a stencil (The Mix) to add more texture. Spray ink over the top and then colour on the girl with markers.

Add the words and it is done.

Never Dull Your Sparkle Art Journal With Brushos

Hi  all

I have a fabulous art journal page to share using a variety of products available from Colourcraft.

Start off by applying white soft form paste using a stencil mask, Apply this down the centre of the page and a little over the sides.

Spritz with water and sprinkle over with Turquoise and use a paint brush to guide the colour over the page leaving a section in the middle of the page. Let the first colour dry and then apply Purple Brusho in the centre of the page, using a brush to blend the colours.

Stamp around the page with texture stamps and then apply black soft form paste in the edges of the page.

Cut out a heart from Lutradur and paint with white gesso. Use a heat gun to distress the Lutradur, This product melts when heat is applied and there are a lot of different effects to achieve depending on how much heat you use.

Allow this to dry and then Cut it in half and sew it down the middle with white thread.

Sprinkle Purple Brusho over the top. Use water to dilute the colour and then use a paper towel to remove excess ink.

Dye some white thread with Purple Brusho Powder and glue to the centre of the page so that it frames the heart

Use a lable maker to add text to the page. You could also print the words off using a computer and ink them to match the colours.

How To Create An Amazing Art Journal Page Using Brusho Powders

Hi all

I have an art journal tutorial on the blog today. I am going to teach you how to create this amazing journal using Brusho Crystal Powders.

Start off by taking a blank journal page and stamping around the corners of the page with a selection of texture stamps. Use archival ink to stop it washing away when you add your wet mediums later.

Next add a little water to a palette and add your Brusho Powders.

Apply clear Soft Form Relief Paste to the edge of the page using a stencil. once it has set you can  start painting over the Brusho ink. I  mixed Turquoise, Blue and purple.

Take some white thread and dye it using the Brusho Powder and then glue it to the page. Next take the flower stamps and stamp them out onto white card. Colour in the flowers with Brusho Powder and cut them out

Place the flowers onto the page and adhere using 3D foam to add dimension.
