Swedish House Crafts Mixed Media Tag Set

Hello all

I have a set of mixed media tags to share using the Embossing Folders from Crafter's Companion and Gummiapan.

Start off by spraying a blank tag with shimmer spray and  allow to dry.
Stamp around the tag with the Alphabet background stamp and then apply a stencil mask to the tag.  Paint on another ink colour with a paint brush and then cut out a small rectangle from acetate.
Emboss it with the  Basket Weave Folder and paint over with gesso before applying a coat of gold paint over the top.

Ink a small tag and then emboss it with the Leaf Vein Embossing Folder. adhere the acetate and tag to the edge of the larger tag and then add thread to the tag and then add the hearts to the little tag with a few enamel dots on.

Finish by adding some stamped butterflies and words.

Spray a blank tag with brown ink and then emboss it with the Wood Grain Embossing Folder and then rub over with gold paint.

Add jute ribbon to the background and then cut out a integrated rectangle from green card nad stick that down.

Cut out two small tags, one form card and one from acetate and apply ink and paint to them. Wrap the larger tag in torn matching paper and then add lace to the bottom before sticking it down. Wrap thread arounf the smaler tag and then glue it to the edge of the other tag.

Add a sentiment to the taf and decorate with small butterflies and embellishments.

Emboss a large blank tag with the Pebbles Embossing Folder  and add a stencil to the background.
Paint tag with blue ink and use metallic paint to highlight the embossing.

Add white thread to the base.
Cut out a smaller tag and emboss it using the Leaf Vein Embossing Folder.

decorate with a few different trims and then cut out the Doodle Heart out of card and paint with blue metallic paint.
Finish with a sentiment and enamel dots.

The memory nest January Color Challenge

my  first challenge of 2014 at http://thememorynest.blogspot.co.uk/p/make-it-monday.html. now that the madness of Christmas and new year is over I can get back to my blog and hopefully will be adding more creations over the next few weeks.

I choose the blue and green tones from the challenge as they work well with the tan background. I combined Dear Lizzy with Papermania and used a stencil mask and modelling paste to create the background.
the flowers I made using the new Xcut A5 flower die set and after cutting out the pieces I used a balling tool to rough up the petals.

this one is going in my holiday scrapbook which I am trying to get finished but there never seems to be enough time in the day.
