Ephemoire Magical Flying Macarons Artist Trading Block

Hi all
I am back with another project for Ephemoire. This time i have an Artist Trading Block using the Magical Flying Macarons and Fairies Kit.

Product links

First of all you need to put the MDF ATB together and then paint it. Next use a nesting die to cut the papers to the correct size and stick those on.

Cut out all the bits and just stick them on with 3D foam tape.
Glue lace around the bottom.
Cut out the big fairy and then glue a dress pin to the back.
now take a cork, paint it, glue it on the top and stick the fairy in it.
Add Flying Macarons everywhere.
Glue pink cabochons around the top of the ATB.

Black glass chips

Print out the Bonafide papers onto card in grayscale. This was a happy accident !!
Place a large tag die or template over the papers so that you get the patterned part on most of the tag. then cut it out.
Colour in the patterned sections with watercolor paints
Apply a stencil mask to the plain parts of the tag

On the skull tag, glue on paper flowers and embellishments.
Then add a sentiment to finish.

For the other tags, stamp out a sentiment for each and then use embossing powder on the words.

Ephemoire True Crime Themed Artist Trading Block

Hi all

I am back with an artist trading block to share today.
I apologize for the video as i was recovering from the dreaded lurgy at the time of filming.

Here is the video

I painted the block with black gesso and then added paper to the background. I used the Bonafide paper set and cut them to size using a square nesting die.
I forgot to mention that on the video.

I then applied a stencil mask and once the modeling paste had set, i sprayed it with red mist spray.

To get the pictures to fit, I cut out the people and glued them on.

This was a cheap plastic halloween garland with skeletons on. I cut them up and glued their bones to the block.

The blood drips are made using a red hot glue stick and a die cut as a mould.

The feet are some beads shaped like poison cans.

Ephemoire True Crime And Horror Themed Altered Bookmarks

Hi all

I have a tutorial showing you how to alter a few bookmarks using printables from Ephemore.

Cover the bookmark with red paint and leave it to dry before adding a layer of crackle paint.

Once this has set, Spritz the bookmark with red ink and then ink around the edges in red.

Print out the images from the  And cut out the pieces.

Adhere them to the bookmark using heavy gel medium to paste them down.

I painted the back red and then used a stamp .

Thread copper whire through the hole in the top and twist the wire around itself using pliers.

Thread beads on to the copper wire and then use pliers to curl the end up into a hook. Add a charm and then  twist the copper over itself to seal it up.

Here are the finished bookmarks
