Craft Consortium Winter Woodland Merry and Bright Card

Hi all

Here is my last Christmas make of the year at least until June and the we start it all again. I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Right i am off to polish off the wine and hope Santa hasn't put me on the naughty list ;)

Cover a square card blank with patterned  paper and trim to fit.

Cut a large strip from matching paper and adhere to the centre of the card. Ink over the top with brown spritzing ink.

Cut out a small rectangle and adhere over the edge of the strip

Take a mdf shape and paint with black acrylic paint. Let this dry and then apply crackle paste over the top and allow to set.

Once dry thread two acorn charms through some twine and then tie around the top of the mdf shape before adding to the card.

Good Luck with the last minute Xmas shopping and i will be back after Christmas with more inspiration.
thank you for dropping in.

Winter Woodland Layout Mr Robin

Hi all

I have another layout made using the Winter Woodland Collection by Craft Consortium.

Start off by applying gesso to a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. Use a pallet knife to drag the gesso across the page.

Once dry apply a stencil mask over the top using modeling paste and allow to set.

Spritz are with a couple of green mist sprays and allow to dry

Cut up the Winter Woodland papers into squares and strips and position them onto the page before gluing down.

Just play around with the paper layers until you are happy with the final look.

Mount your photograph onto card and trim to fit layout.

Using the robin stamps from the Winter Woodland Collection, Stamp out the little birds onto card and then color in with watercolor paints. Let them dry and then cut them out before adding to the page.

Add a few holly leaves and use the enamel dots from the Kori Kumi collection to add the berries.

Finish off by adding a title using alphabet stickers.

Craft Consortium Winter Woodland Fabric Hanging

Hi all

I have a home decor project to share today using the new Winter Woodland stamps by Craft Consortium.

I used a nesting die to cut out a heart from Lutradur and felt. I then stamped the images onto the Lutradur and then coloured them in with inks.

Before i started to sew the pieces together, I glued a piece of jute ribbon into the centre and stitched around the edge. i left a gap so i could add stuffing which i made from scraps of felt.

I finished off by gluing pearl trim around the edge of the decoration.

Cherish the Memory Woodland Winter Christmas Cards

                                                                Hi all

I have made up a few cards using the card kits available at Cherish the Memory. They are easy to make up and come with lots of extra bits which can be used on other projects. This one is called Winter Woodland https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/556329215/woodland-winter-die-cut-block-for-card?ref=shop_home_active_3

The kits are designed to fit most 6 x 6 and A6 cards

I love the golden foil accents with this kit.

There are many different pieces which can be mixed and matched to make the cards more unique.

Use 3D foam pads to add dimension to the cards

Trimcraft Christmas: The Best of 2014

As we wait for the release of this years Christmas ranges i will be sharing a few cards i made from last years products. I think i will need a small army to clear last years stash but any spare can be made into cards for charity.

These cards are mostly from the Krafty Christmas range which was one of my favorites from last year, I've used a bit of Winter woodland and back to basics modern too.

More Krafty Christmas with the new First Edition Doily die

I layer up lace and ribbon to add more texture

This one was made with Me To You Christmas and i loved the colours from this range which are very warm. Me To You is back this year with a cool and fresh  colour pallet

This one is made with the Winter woodland Range and has a lot of cute animal designs.
