Fallout props Bobby Pin Tin

Hello all
I am back with more Fallout props this week. This time it is a bobby pin tin with bobby pins!! not that i know how to lockpick lol.

This is just a small tin which i roughed up with sandpaper and then i coated with black gesso. The gesso didn't stick too well to at the start but as it peeled and i added more layers of paint, it gave it a battered look. The next layer of paint was burnt umber and then i added texture past to the edges so it looked like rust. Then i painted of the quinacridone gold paint before printing off the label and grunging it up.

When painting the tin becareful not to add too much paint to the parts where the tin lid meets the bottom as it will make it hard to open. I had to sand the paint off so it will shut.

Thank you for visiting

Another fab project :) I must admit I'm better at lockpicking in Tamriel rather than the Wasteland ;) Hugs - Debs xxx
