Goofy Sweary Unicorn Greeting Card For Adults

Hi all

I have an inappropriate greeting card for you all today.
I used the Ice Cream Unicorn By Bloobel which you can buy for $1 by clicking the image below.

Sentiment is available here

The base of the card was created with a Gelli Plate which i have dusted off and spent a whole afternoon messing with. It was like those days in school where you create a giant mess and then take it home to show mum. Only this time i have a better understanding of how colours work.

I used a stencil on the Gelli Plate with white paint to create highlights which sort of worked but i may need more practice.

I used an alphabet background stamp with the worn grid stamp around the edges and stamped a few around the card allowing the ink to fade a little.
I somehow resisted the urge to add glitter.

i used a mixture of paints and marker pens to colour the image. I got the sorbet look by mixing Rose Red Brusho Crystal Powders with White Gesso.

Kori Kumi Far Away Tag Shaker Card

Hi all

I have another shaker card to share using the Kori Kumi collection.

I used a tag nesing dies and just placed a smaller one inside a larger sized die. Fix them in place with washi tape and then cut out one from paper and one from craft foam. You can cut extra foam pieces if you want a deeper box. Next cut out the largest die from paper and then again from acetate. Glue the craft foam frames to the base and fill it up. Then glue the acetate top on and the paper frame over the top.

I used an embossing folder on the top part of the card and navy blue paper on the bottom.

The characters are cut out of one of the 8 x 8 sheets.

Time Mixed Media Canvas With Brusho Crystal Powders

Hello all

I am going to teach you how to create this mixed media canvas using Brusho Crystal Powders.

Start off by applying gesso to the blank canvas and then gather a thick blob of modeling paste on the end of a pallet knife. Apply the blobs of modeling paste to the canvas spreading it thickly in the desired place.

Sprinkle glass glitter and various art stones over the modeling paste and pat down carefully with a palette knife. allow the modeling paste to set a bit before sprinkling  Turquoise and Purple over the background. Apply water over the powders and use a brush to control the flow of colour.

Paint a wooden frame with gesso and then gold Aztec Eco Metallic Luster. The wings and face and made by squashing paper clay into a silicone mold. It takes about a day for them to set but the clay is firm enough to pop out of the mold so you can make a batch up. Paint everything in gold and allow to dry.

Glue the wings and face onto the frame and then glue a second pair of wings to the side of the frame. Add clusters of flowers and metal charms across the canvas and add a title to finish

Cherish The Memory Merry Christmas 12 x 12 Christmas Layout

Hi all
I am back with a scrapbook page using  the  Sweet Winter Season Collection available at Cherish The Memory.

I started off by applying a stencil mask to the base of the page and then spritzed and few inks over. I then stamped a background stamp over the page randomly.

I used one of the A6 cards from the card kit to matt the photo on and then i cut up some of the other A6 cards to use as layers.

The die cut pieces are perfect for adding layers and embellishments

Never Dull Your Sparkle Art Journal With Brushos

Hi  all

I have a fabulous art journal page to share using a variety of products available from Colourcraft.

Start off by applying white soft form paste using a stencil mask, Apply this down the centre of the page and a little over the sides.

Spritz with water and sprinkle over with Turquoise and use a paint brush to guide the colour over the page leaving a section in the middle of the page. Let the first colour dry and then apply Purple Brusho in the centre of the page, using a brush to blend the colours.

Stamp around the page with texture stamps and then apply black soft form paste in the edges of the page.

Cut out a heart from Lutradur and paint with white gesso. Use a heat gun to distress the Lutradur, This product melts when heat is applied and there are a lot of different effects to achieve depending on how much heat you use.

Allow this to dry and then Cut it in half and sew it down the middle with white thread.

Sprinkle Purple Brusho over the top. Use water to dilute the colour and then use a paper towel to remove excess ink.

Dye some white thread with Purple Brusho Powder and glue to the centre of the page so that it frames the heart

Use a lable maker to add text to the page. You could also print the words off using a computer and ink them to match the colours.
