The Blank Page Muse Quick idea Mail Art

Hello all

There is still time to enter our Facebook Challenge. 
The theme of the month is mail art and we are having a mail art challenge over at the Blank Page Muse Fan Group on Facebook. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

The Blank Page Muse Sending Smiles Whimsical Mail Art 

Start off with one texture stamp and use this to create a boarder around the envelope.
Stamp out the focal images onto the center of the envelope and leave a space for the address.
Next fill in the spaces using different texture stamps. Layer them by using different coloured inks.

The Blank Page Muse Unicorns Art Journal


Hi all
I have a journal page to share today using one of the new stamp sets by The Blank Page Muse.









Products used
The Blank Page Muse Unicorn Wishes Moon Stars & Words
The Blank Page Muse Background Grunge Art Rubber Stamps
Acrylic Paint
Sketch book
Make up sponge
Choose about three colours that work together and dab them on randomly. Allow some of the colours overlap a little.


Start applying the texture stamps and layer those up.


Stamp out the unicorns and clouds.
Colour the images and stick onto the page.
Stamp out the little stars from the cloud stamp and then cut those out and add them to the page.
Stamp out a sentiment, cut it out and ink the edges before adding to page.

The Blank page May New Releases Donna Gray

           Hello crafty friends

It's time to take a look at another exciting new release from The Blank Page Muse!!.
We are onto the 3rd day of the new stamps release blog hop. Today we are introducing new features artist Donna Gray with Unicorn Wishes  Moon Stars & Words

I used the new Unicorns Art Rubber Stamp Set
The pages were painted with acrylic paints using a make up sponge. Start with the pale colours and then blend in a few stronger colours. Then i just stamped over a few texture stamps using different colour inks. I stamped the unicorns out in black so they would stand out from the background.

The Blank Page Flutter Of Butterflies Art Canvas

Hello all
Learn how to create this art canvas using stamps by The Blank Page Muse.


The Blank Page Muse Dandelion Wishes
The Blank Page Muse  Water Drops Background Stamp 
The Blank Page Stamps Chain Link Pattern Background Stamp
The Blank Page Stamps Knock On Wood
Ranger Archival Ink Geranium
Colourcraft Brusho Acrylic Spray Bronze
Various inks
Craft Consortium Essential Craft Papers Vintage Emporium
StencilGirl Scales Stencil





Start off by stamping a few textures around the edges of the canvas.
Next apply a stencil mask to the centre.


Spray with the bronze acrylic ink and allow first layer to fully dry.
Flick on yellow ink and allow to drip down the canvas, dry with heat tool.
Next drip on dark red ink and drip it down the canvas, allow it to mix a little with the yellow before drying it off.


Stamp over the Chain Link Background Stamp using red Archival Ink.


Stamp the butterflies of all sizes onto the vintage news print paper and cut out.
Adhere to canvas from large to small using 3D foam pads.
Finish off by stamping out a sentiment onto card and adding to canvas.

The Blank Page Muse Fall Fairies Artist Trading Cards


Hello all

I have a set of Autumn themed artist trading cards using stamps by The Blank Page Muse


 The Blank Page Muse Fairytale Fantasy Figures  
The Blank Page Muse Dandelion Wishes 
Marker Pens
Blank ATC Cards
Water Soluble Ink Pads
Permanent Ink Pads

 Step by step

Stamp out the images onto card and colour in with marker pens before cutting out the fairies.


Take the blank ATCs and apply water soluble ink using a makeup sponge. Spritz with water and dry them off.


Take the dandelion stamps and stamp over the cards to create a background.


Once backgrounds are ready, glue on the flowers and fairies.
 Add gema and words to finish

The Blank Page Muse Amethyst Druzy Flower Tag


Hi all
I have a mixed media tag to  share today  using stamps by The Blank Page Muse. I created a druzy effect which i will show you how to recreate bellow.



Spray a blank tag with purple mist sprays and then use a varity of purple coloured inks to stamp randomly  around the tag. Aplly a stencil  and leave to dry.


Stamp out the flowers on to card that has been sprayed over with mist sprays. Cut them out and add glue to the centers of the larger flowers. Sprinkle with glitter and then seal with crackle glaze. This will take a few hours to set before you can add them to the tag.


Add burlap and a die-cut background to thecenter of the stamp. I buy white burlap and either paint or ink it to match the colour scheme. Decorate with gems and sequins.


Once the crackle glaze has set you should get this faux druzy effect.

Creepy Haunted House Shadow Box With The Blank Page Muse Stamps

Its my favourite  time of the year when things get spooky. Check out my configuration  box i created using stamps by The Blank Page Muse.

Start off by painting the box with gesso and once dry paint the frame purple and the inside green and orange. 


Stamp out the halloween images and colour them with inks. Use different ink pads to create variety.


Stamp the Grunge Background stamp over the frame in black ink.


Begin to add the stamped images to the sections. Fill out the sections with faux cobwebs, faux moss and beads.


Use alphabet beads to spellout spooky words.


Keep adding layers of stamped images and charms to the box. Fill little glass bottles with micro beads and glitter to create potions.



Add gems to eyes to create  a spooky glow.

Fun Halloween Mixed Media Artist Trading Coins



Hi all

I have a spooky fun set of artist trading coins to share using some of the Halloween stamps available from The Blank Page Muse Stamps.




Use a 2.5 inch circle die to make the base from card and then spray with mist sprays to create the background. 





use the large Halloween Bingo stamp on the base and then start stamping out the pieces onto card. Use different coloured inks to get different looks for the stamped images.




If you spray the card with the mist spray first, you will get stronger lines and it will stop the ink lines being washed off.
