I have created a set of ATCs using the Textured Flower stamps  and Collage Elements by Rubber Dance.

I started off by applying white gesso to the blank ATCs and once dry i spritzed with water and used a paint brush to apply the Brusho Crystal Colour Powders.

I applied texture stamps and stencil masks over the backgrounds.

I used an pallet and added water to the inkwells before sprinkling in some Brusho Crystal Colour Powders to use as watercolour paints. I use a fine tipped paint brush and carefully paint inside the lines.

Never Dull Your Sparkle Art Journal With Brushos

Hi  all

I have a fabulous art journal page to share using a variety of products available from Colourcraft.

Start off by applying white soft form paste using a stencil mask, Apply this down the centre of the page and a little over the sides.

Spritz with water and sprinkle over with Turquoise and use a paint brush to guide the colour over the page leaving a section in the middle of the page. Let the first colour dry and then apply Purple Brusho in the centre of the page, using a brush to blend the colours.

Stamp around the page with texture stamps and then apply black soft form paste in the edges of the page.

Cut out a heart from Lutradur and paint with white gesso. Use a heat gun to distress the Lutradur, This product melts when heat is applied and there are a lot of different effects to achieve depending on how much heat you use.

Allow this to dry and then Cut it in half and sew it down the middle with white thread.

Sprinkle Purple Brusho over the top. Use water to dilute the colour and then use a paper towel to remove excess ink.

Dye some white thread with Purple Brusho Powder and glue to the centre of the page so that it frames the heart

Use a lable maker to add text to the page. You could also print the words off using a computer and ink them to match the colours.

How To Create An Amazing Art Journal Page Using Brusho Powders

Hi all

I have an art journal tutorial on the blog today. I am going to teach you how to create this amazing journal using Brusho Crystal Powders.

Start off by taking a blank journal page and stamping around the corners of the page with a selection of texture stamps. Use archival ink to stop it washing away when you add your wet mediums later.

Next add a little water to a palette and add your Brusho Powders.

Apply clear Soft Form Relief Paste to the edge of the page using a stencil. once it has set you can  start painting over the Brusho ink. I  mixed Turquoise, Blue and purple.

Take some white thread and dye it using the Brusho Powder and then glue it to the page. Next take the flower stamps and stamp them out onto white card. Colour in the flowers with Brusho Powder and cut them out

Place the flowers onto the page and adhere using 3D foam to add dimension.

Learn What Happens When You Use Brushos With Aquawax

Hello crafty friends

I am back with a tutorial showing you how to use the Aquawax.

First of all i painted the page with gesso and mixed Lemon Brusho Powder with the Aquawax. I  gave it a good stir to distribute the colour and then painted it onto my blank page at random and let it set.

I applied a stencil to the page with modeling paste and let it set before spritzing with water. I then sprinkled Orange, Lemon and OST Red over the page, adding more water to spread the colour across the page.

Adding ink over the Aquawax will create a slight resist effect and will dry with a grungy texture.

Next i mixed Lime Green Brusho Powder with modeling paste and applied it randomly to the page.  Paint a section of white card with Lime Green  Brusho powder and then stamp out 6 larger hearts and 12 small hearts. Stamp a texture over the top with lime green ink and leave to dry. Next mix Lime Green Brusho with Thickener to make a glaze.
Paint this over the top and cut out the hearts.

Glue the hearts onto the page in a flower shape and then stamp out a few small flowers onto card. Paint these in green and cutout,
Use as flower centres.

Paint the corner of the journal with gesso and add a little lemon over the top.
Stamp out inspirational words onto tissue paper and glue to corner of page. Apply the glue onto the page first otherwise the tissue will tear.
