The Christmas makes are slowly creeping onto my blog and Instagram this week starting with the new collection called It's Snome Time designed by Helz Cuppleditch who you will be familiar with. The collection is now available on the Craft Consortium website and includes stamps, 12 x 12 papers, decoupage toppers and charms. This collection matches up really well with The Essential Craft Papers Wood Effects Papers which are now available in 6 x 6 size.

The cogs are die cut from card and then i covered them in heavy gel medium before sprinkling on chunky rust embossing powder.

I used Pertina on the clock and added some to the large rusty cog. i added more heavy gel medium to the parts that i wanted to add another colour to.

The box was painted and then i used decoupage paper over the top and sides. Then i painted over it with Quinacridone Gold acrylic paint. Then i glued the pieces onto the box.

I added texture sand paste to the edges of the box and then painted over it with Quinacridone Gold paint to add more rust.

Craft Consortium Herbarium mini album

Hello all
I have a mini album to share using the new Herbarium Collection by Craft Consortium. I have a flip through video to share too.

Products used

I used a die to cut out the pages.
The Postcards are from the Vintage Emporium Paper pad and Gypsy Gypsy Pad.
I just cut them out and used them as pockets or to mount photos onto.

I created the clips by using little tag and bunting dies. I just cut them out of paper scraps,Then added lace and gems. I folded the paper over the paper clip and added pva glue to hold it.

I used the stamps to create a planner clip. I stamped it out onto thick card so it was more sturdy.

I made a pocket using wide lace trim.
It is just glued into place with pva glue.
