Rick St Dennis Toadstool ATCS

Hi all

I have a set of ATCs to share today. I  made the base using a Gelli Plate and created sheets of different colour combinations.

The mushrooms are from the Wonderland Elements Set One

I used First Edition Marker pens to colour the images and then i cut them out and stuck them down.

I used the small words stamp by Gummiapan to finish off the ATCs

Goofy Sweary Unicorn Greeting Card For Adults

Hi all

I have an inappropriate greeting card for you all today.
I used the Ice Cream Unicorn By Bloobel which you can buy for $1 by clicking the image below.

Sentiment is available here

The base of the card was created with a Gelli Plate which i have dusted off and spent a whole afternoon messing with. It was like those days in school where you create a giant mess and then take it home to show mum. Only this time i have a better understanding of how colours work.

I used a stencil on the Gelli Plate with white paint to create highlights which sort of worked but i may need more practice.

I used an alphabet background stamp with the worn grid stamp around the edges and stamped a few around the card allowing the ink to fade a little.
I somehow resisted the urge to add glitter.

i used a mixture of paints and marker pens to colour the image. I got the sorbet look by mixing Rose Red Brusho Crystal Powders with White Gesso.

This time i did a 6x6 fat page using the Angels and Demons digital stamp. its my first attempt at a fat page so i hope its OK.  you can win 3 digital stamps form the Ike's Art shop by playing along with out anything goes challenge.

I like this stamp because it explores our dual nature, as humans we can choose to be either good or Bad.

This flower was a free die, i like it looks complicated but its simple to use

Weeping Banshee Card for Forever Dark

Hi all
Something for those who craft on the dark side. I have another project using Teri's La Llorona weeping woman digi stamp from Delicious Doodles. There is a Facebook challenge on until 30th June to enter your dark creations for a chance to win so Delicious Doodles stamps. here is the group link www.facebook.com/groups/377596482275106/ you will be asked to join and once accepted you can upload you project in the photos section of the page.

The paper is a digital fownload from Farfarhill and is free for personal use. I print them out in draft mode to spare the ink.

I used black ink to dye white flowers black and left to dry before spritzing more black ink under the flower cluster. Some of the black ink bled into the red roses creating a grungy look. It was an accident but it looks cool.

Thank you for visiting and if you would like to join us you can sign up for the Delicious Doodles facebook group.

Forever Dark June Challenge

Hi everyone
Here is my first project as part of the Forever Dark Challenge team. we have two sponsors this month the first one is Delicious Doodles  Teri has an Etsy shop which sells these beautiful digital stamps.

you have the chance to win a few for yourselves just by playing a long with our challenge which is Anything goes, as long as its dark, goth, horror, fantasy or steampunk you can link up your projects here http://foreverdark2.blogspot.co.uk/

The winner can choose 3 digi stamps from the Delicious Doodles shop.

For my Challenge entry i choose the Celtic Dragon Frame stamp. He is easy to colour in because the shading is already part of the stamp. I used the Mirabelle paper pad for the paper layers and splattered it with black DecoArt  misters with a few splashes of green ink.

The sentiment stamp is from www.stampingallday.com

Using misting spray to customise your scrapbook pages

i decided to remake my holiday scrapbook album and decided i couldn't wait till my next holiday to start using my new stash.

i customised this page by recycling an  old 12x12 page by spraying with misting ink. i made my own with a empty make up spray bottle and adding Brushido powdered dye to some water. i then flicked different coloured acrylic paint over the page. be careful this can get messy.
i cut out strips of all aboard papers and stuck a camera printout on it, you can find these printouts on uprintables.blogspot.com/au
i will post some ideas on how to use misting sprays on your layouts soon.
