Trimcraft Mirabelle Card Inspiration

Hi all

I am back with a selection of cards i made using the new Mirabelle Collection.

For this card i used the Lost Song stamp to create a card topper which i coloured in using the First Edition Marker Pens

The layers are created from paper scraps which i have trimmed and layered up. I then added buttons and ribbon

I used the A4 decoupage pad for the topper and  used simple layers to create this card.

For this card i wanted to experiment with circles so i cut out a few in different sizes and cut a few of the centers out. I then layered them over each other.

I used the All For Love stamp set and i cut it out. The heart i cut out s and then glued to the hand using beading elastic so it dangles.

Trimcraft Santoro Mirabelle 2016 collection A4 Scrapbook page

Hi all

I have a layout i made using the new Mirabelle Collection.

I used the A4 paper pad as the base and then cut a wide strip of the floral paper and adhered that to the page as the first layer. I used the Short Circuit stencil from  DecoArt for the background.

I then cut two strips of paper 3cm wide and stuck them behind the photo. I used the glitter boarder from the glitter frames pack and cut it in half to create another layer.

I used the large paper flowers and buttons to decorate the page.

Trimcraft Scrapbook Feature June

Hi all
i am back with a new layout using the Mirabelle range. If you love this then you will love the new Santoro Willow range which will be in my next feature. You can find detailed step by steps to make this layout on the Trimcraft site here  http://www.trimcraft.co.uk/articles/how-to-scrapbook-with-recycled-materials

I wanted to create a layout that  reused packaging. The background was created by using DecoArt Misters and creating splats by unscrewing the cap and spraying the ink out while holding the lid upright.

Mirabelle is one of my favourite ranges next to Willow. Lots of lovely textured prints and sparkles.  I have used diffetent dies and materials to create interesting layers.

love wooden embelishments as you can paint and distress them for a unique look. I painted it with DecoArt White Crackle Paste and then painting over that with the Antiquing Cream.

I think one of my fav die sets is the First Edition tag set as its so versatile.

Thank you for popping in and please feel free to pop over to the Trimcraft website for more lovely projects by our trimmie family.

Forever Dark June Challenge

Hi everyone
Here is my first project as part of the Forever Dark Challenge team. we have two sponsors this month the first one is Delicious Doodles  Teri has an Etsy shop which sells these beautiful digital stamps.

you have the chance to win a few for yourselves just by playing a long with our challenge which is Anything goes, as long as its dark, goth, horror, fantasy or steampunk you can link up your projects here http://foreverdark2.blogspot.co.uk/

The winner can choose 3 digi stamps from the Delicious Doodles shop.

For my Challenge entry i choose the Celtic Dragon Frame stamp. He is easy to colour in because the shading is already part of the stamp. I used the Mirabelle paper pad for the paper layers and splattered it with black DecoArt  misters with a few splashes of green ink.

The sentiment stamp is from www.stampingallday.com

Mirabelle card inspiration

Hi all
i am back with a new Mirabelle card. This is definitely one of my favourite ranges.

I love the amount of different bits this range comes with like the sparkly buttons and the ribbons.

Hatpins are newish to the Trimcraft ranges but i love them and hope we get lots of different ones to play with.

The topper is from the 8x8 decoupage pad and they are easy to assemble. I just follow the numbers on the sheet and build the layers up using the 3d foam pads.

Im off now for a bit but will be back Sunday with some news to share.

Thanks for visiting.

More Mirabelle Projects

Hi all
i am back with some more Mirabelle inspiration.

I have another mixed media card which i started of by flicking DecoArt misters over the base layer. I used Purple shimmer and black acrylic mister. I then added more textures by cutting 3 doilies in half and sticking them together. I scrumped up the edges to add dimension.

I used the decoupage pad to make the topper and then stamped a sentiment onto a card stock sticker. If you accidentally smudge the ink you can wipe it if with a baby wipe and start again.

Here is a wall hanging i made by covering a wooden plaque with Deco Mache paper and painting with DecoArt crackle paint. I then rubbed metallic lustre over it.

Thanks  for visiting

Introducing Santoro Mirabelle

I have a card to share today.
I used the new Mirabelle range and it is a beautiful paper range.

I started off by flicking purple DecoArt misting spray over the card. And the added a few layers.

I used the decopage pad to create the topper and the cut out a frame from the Mirabelle die set. I cut it in half and slotted it behind the topper.

This is a wooden.shape from the Me to you Christmas range. I painted it with DecoArt crackle paste and the used the petunia antiquating cream over it.

To add a shimmer to flowers i used the metalic lustre and rubbed a bit of silver paste over it

Thank you for visiting and you can see the whole range at www.trimcraft.co.uk
