Creativity Magazine June competition Entry

 This is the layout i am going to send into Creativity magazine for their competition, its a one way trip for my layout so I've taken more photos then usual. I had to use recycled packaging on my layout and the latest Papermania products.

 i am determined to get the hang of this mixed media trend that's popping up all over the net so I'm going to make a mess until it looks pretty. I used a piece of cardboard from some food packaging and coated it in gresso and using the All Aboard Postmark stamp i stamped writing onto the cardboard to give it a grugey faded look.

the curve edged layer of card is actually the backing card off my Bobunny stamps, i just inked the edges and glued it in place.

 Cardboard gives a soft distressed effect when it is torn and inked.

 

I used bubble wrap with Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge Distress ink to create the circle print

 The bunting was made with the Joycrafts Lables and Tags die cutter and recycled card.

i used the Papermania Ahoy There clear stamps to make the bunting, i stamped onto different coloured paper scraps and  cut them out.
