How To Create A Stunning Steampunk ATC

Hi all

I made an ATC or Artist Trading Card. I used mixed media products and Best Glue Ever to create this steampunk look.

Cover the ATC base with gesso and then paint with bronze paint. Using sanding paper, Sand down the first layer and leave a little showing.

Next apply the Prima Rust pastes starting with the darkest colored paste and finishing by dry brushing the lightest color over the top. Don't worry about covering the ATC from corner to corner as this adds to the effect.

The last layer is just a bit of Turquoise paint which i brushed on roughly.

Next i stamped out some cog images onto card and cut them out. Next i painted rust paste over the top and left them to dry. I also used small MDF cogs and i used Best Glue Ever to adhere them to the ATC. Once tacky the Best Glue Ever sticks to rough surfaces.

I added gold micro beads around the ATC

i finished off by adding a sentiment

Thank you for visiting
