I am playing along with the Canvas Corp Brands November Challenge which is a male theme this month. You can join here http://blog.canvascorpbrands.com/ccb-november-challenge-movember-enter-to-win/. So as i love steampunk and mixed media i decided to create this rusty decoration.
I went for a steampunk wall hanging which i created using a large mdf cog. I added lots of rust using acrylic paints and cinnamon powder.
I used the 7 Gypsies Time Pieces Stamp set and stamped them onto smooth card stock before ageing them with ink.
I dry brushed the cogs with bronze acrylic paint to create a patina effect.
