Hi all

I am back with prompt 8 of our little challenge. I attempted to stencil with glue by spreading it over  the stencil like modeling paste. It did sort of hold the shape but it also bled under the stencil a bit. I added embossing powder on one side and left the other as a crinkled mess on the other side

Hi all

I am back with the 7th journal prompt of the challenge, along with my interpretation of it.

I used acrylic paints on the background and layered up orange, yellow and red. I then created the page boarder using texture stamps.

I reused the punched out circles from the previous prompt as it was a shame to waste them.

Hello all

It is time to share prompt 6 of the StencilGirl Stencilfied Journal Challenge.

I used Brusho powders on the background and then i added the stencil over the top with modeling paste.

I then used a 1.5 inch circle punch to poke out the holes. I then applied paint under the holes and stamped texture stamps over them.

Hi all

It is time to reveal the next prompt.

I used brusho powder om the background. I then took a stencil and dabbed paint over using a make up sponge. Then i turned the stencil over and pressed the opposite side of the stencil onto the page to create a reverse print.

I then used the stamps on the background and then i added the sentiment stamp and image to each page.

Hi all

Prompt 3 is ready to share. I used one of the leaves from the garden and applied the River Rocks stencil over the top.

The leaf has dried out and cracked adding a bit of texture

Hello all

I am back with Prompt 2 of the stencified journal challenge. I was waiting for my page to be worn by the weather.

I used The Musical Notes Mandala Stencil

Before being left outside 

I had to wait for it to rain a bit as we have had a dry summer so far.

As you can see the rain has took a lot of the colour out and left this subtle wash of colour in the center.

Hi all

It's the first prompt for The Stencilfied Journal with StencilGirl. We will be releasing one prompt per week.

 

Products used 

 StencilGirl Doodle It Geometric Landscape

The Blank Page Muse Background Grunger Set

Paint the background with gesso and let it dry before adding you next layer of paint.

Use background stamps on the page and then use  a dark blue with the stencil. I use a make up sponge to apply the paint to the stencil.

Cut them out and glue them in.

The rest of the circles are made by spraying book pages with ink and then stamping over them.
