Take a blank card and cover with the Journal Texture 2 using modeling paste and leave to set. Next spritz card over with water and then sprinkle over with Brusho powder. I used Rose Red and Lemon which created this ombre effect.

I then cut out a flag and added Rose Red Brusho powder over it and once dry i used the Starlight stencil over the top. I then mixed some Lemon Brusho Powder with modeling paste and applied it over the flag using the Journal Textures 6 stencil. I glued lace across the top and then stuck it down.

I used pink bakers twine and wrapped it around the top of the card and added a flower to the corner of the flag.

I finished off the card by stamping out a sentiment onto card and painted Lemon Brusho powder over the top before adding it onto the card. I added sequins to finish.

How To Create A Stunning Butterfly Card Using Brushos

Hi all

I have a nature themed card to share today. I created a project that had a lot of texture and i experimented with different green tones.

I started by painting the whole card with Lime Green Brusho Powder and then i added a few darker greens over the top. Next i added gesso to the centre and added Leaf Green over the top before adding a stencil down the middle and then Olive and Emerald Green on top.

i dyed the cheese cloth with Lime and Leaf Green and dried it off with a heat tool before gluing it to the card. The butterfly i printed off and coloured by spritzing with water first and then sprinkling differnent colours over the top. I guided the colout with a water pen and dabbed off any excess ink.

I finished off the card by adding a texture stamp around the edge and some sequins to the butterfly wings.

How To Create A Beautiful Greeting Card With Gypsy Moments

Hi all 

Today i am sharing a card i made using 7 Gypsies Gypsy Moments papers.

Cover a 6 x 6 card using patterned paper from the Gypsy Moments paper pad

Add a few strips of washi tape to the corners of the card and rub gesso over the top and then stamp along the edges with a texture stamp

Cut a wide strip of lace and glue to half of the card

Use one of the 4 x 4 squares from the scrap pack and adhere to center of card

 Cut a strip of floral patterned paper and adhere across the card

Adhere a white lace along the bottom of the floral strip

Cut out a piece of corrugated card and ink the edges before adhering to the card

Cut out a topper from the Gypsy Moments 8x8 pad and adhere to center of corrugated card

I had some lace flowers which i spritzed with Tattered Angels sprays and added a few matching paper flowers too.

Tip Use spritzing inks to dye white paper flowers to match any project

How To Create A Stunning Summer Shaker Card

Hi all

Today i have a fun summer themed shaker card to share today. The papers are from the Summer Feelings collect avalible from Cherish the memory.

Start off by covering a 6 x6 card with blue paper and then half the card with the wood effect paper.

To create the shaker box you just need a set of nesting dies. Choose the size you want the box to be and pop the smaller nesting die inside the larger one to make a frame. Cut out two frames from paper and craft foam. If the craft foam is a distracting colour you can paint over it with acrylic paint.

Next cut out a sheet of pattetened paper for the base using the largest die and again out of acetate for the window.

Glue the craft foam frame to the base and leave to dry before adding micro beads and glitter shapes.

Seal the bax with the acetate top and once that has dried, add the frame cut from pattetened paper.

Adhere the bix to the catd and then glue cheese cloth around it like a frame.

Add micro beads, craft stones and die cuts around the cheese cloth frame.

You can leave the chese cloth as it is or dab blue ink over it to add a bit of colour. I used watered down acrylic paint on mine.

How to Create A Bright Mixed Media Tag

Hi all

Learn how to create this mixed media tag using the Hearty Doodles stamp set.

1) Cut a large tag from white card

2) Add blobs of pink and orange acrylic paint to tag and blend with a brayer.

3) Apply a texture paste using a stencil.

4)  Stamp out hearts onto card and spritz with water. Add powdered ink and leave to dry.

5) Apply modeling paste over the hearts.

6)  Cut a strip off paper and adhere to tag.

7) Spritz ink onto  white hessian and adhere to tag.

8)  Apply more modeling paste with a stencil and then add the hearts.

9) Finish tag with a sentiment and sequins.

How To Create The Summer Feelings Message In A Bottle Card

Hi all

I have a card using the Summer Feelings Collection available at Cherish the Memory.

Cover a 6 x 6 card with paper from the Summer Feelings 6 x 6 paper pad.

Apply a stencil mask over the top and let it set.

Paint over with white metallic paint.

Tear a sheet of wood print paper off from the corner and glue to corner of the card.

Pop out the bottles from the die cut pack and adhere in a row at the bottom of the card.

Stamp out a sentiment onto white card and colour it in before cutting it out and adhering to the card.

How To Add Glitter To Projects With Best Glue Ever

Hi all

I have a card to share and i used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to add the glitter. With this glue the glitter will stay pit and not flake off again like it does with other types of glue.

I started by covering a 5 x 7 card with the large butterfly pattern from My Botanical Garden Collection and then i added a few blobs of Best Glue Ever and spread it across the edge of the wings.

I then sprinkled over fine teal glitter and tapped off the excess.

I finished the card off by stamping out a verse in the top corners in sea green ink.

How To Use Hearts To Create Flowers With Hearty Doodles

Hi all

I am back with a tag i made using my new stamp set Heart Doodles

I used a Gelli Plate to create the tag background and then i used the small textures over the top.  I then use texture sand paste with a stencil to add texture.

I made the flowers by stamping out the small heart onto pattered paper and then adding a small texture over the top. Next i cut them all out and pieced them together like petals.

Next i drew on a steam and leaves  and added a few enamel dots to the center. I finished off by adding paper flowers which i spritzed with  Valencia misting spray.
