i was inspired by this sketch from page maps

 this shot was taken while at the Out There Festival last year, it was fun to watch all the different styles of street performances over the weekend.

 i used X-cut Chronology Cogs die cutter with Kanban Chocolate and copper Scroll Textured Metalic Duos card stock and HOTP Roses in Harmony with Basic Grey granola and Papermania Chronology papers and Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink. I wanted a steampunk feel to the page so the cogs worked perfectly.

i never thought that any of my layouts would make it into a scrapbook magazine and was very surprised to see my Exmouth layout printed in the your layouts section.  it just shows that you have to be brave and just go for it even if you think you have no chance of winning.

 i used papermania capsule collection and basic grey. i dyed some old book pages with Brushido dye and used the sizzix shell set .

i typed the journaling out on a computer and i drew around the letters to create a boarder and cut them out.

Scrapbooking Grandmother's Menories

When my Nan passed away we discovered a shoe box full of old black and white photos of her family. luckily my mum still remembered who they where and i was able to start a heritage scrapbook album. its important to gather memories from you older relatives before its too late.

  i used basic grey urban prairie and designed by Danni digital scrapbook kit.i misted the edges of the paper with misting spray and tore them to give them a tattered effect.

distress your edges by rubbing a sharp pair of scissors along the edge to give the page a worn look or wet the edges and then tear the paper or roll the edges up with an embossing tool or cocktail stick.t

 i used dye to blend the Doily into the page

 i used the Tim Holt ticket die and Kanban ticket stamps to get this effect

 i used the papermania chronology papers for this layout and added fibers and die cut lace.
