Colourcraft Easter Egg Wreath With Brushos

Hi all

I am back with an Easter make using Brusho Crystal Powders to dye canvas these bright colours.

I used a 30cm wicker wreath as the base and then cut out 7 canvas shapes using an egg shaped nesting die.  I then dyed them spring colours using Lemon, OST Blue, Lime Green and Rose Red Brusho Crystal Powders.

Next i used cheap felt and cut out 7 egg shapes again for the back. Next stitch and stuff the eggs before decorating with lace and felt embellishments.

I bought a few bunches of silk flowers and pulled the heads off. I then glues them in between the gaps using a glue gun.

I added other embellishments to the eggs too before tying ribbon to the top of the wreath so it can be hanged up.

Thank you for visiting

The Robin's Nest Nautical Wreath Tutorial

Hi all

I have a nautical wreath to share using card stock from The Robins Nest. You can find all the products here http://www.shop.robinsnest-scrap.net/

Products used

I painted a 8x8 mdf circle with white gesso and then light blue paint. I added crackle medium as the next layer and then i painted it over the top with dark blue to create the worn look.

I created several rosettes using a die cut and glued them around the base. I then stuck shells and flowers in between the rosettes.

I cut a strip of hessian and dyed it blue with spritzing ink and once it had dried i tied it into a bow.

The centre piece was painted with texture paste and then light blue paint. I wrapped blue jute around the anchor and glued tiny shells to the edge.

I finished off the wreath by adding tiny starfish and pearls.
