Scrapbook Layout Mum's Dolls using the Free Simply Floral Downloads

                                                                   Hi all

Today's layout is a nice vintage one about my mum's doll collection which she still owns. Maybe some of you had dolls like this and would like to share a memory or two in the comments section.

i used a mixture of the Simply Floral paper range and the free Simply Floral part 3 downloads. i used Jill's sketch

I cut the flowers out of a sheet of 12x12 paper. A lot of the patterns are large enough to cut around

and i cut the butterflies out and decorated them with self adhesive pearls in the centres

The digial downloads have a vintage feel to them

Thanks for visiting and if you would like to make something with the freebies here is the link https://docrafts.com/Downloads/Search/1/12/All

Docrafts Monday

It another Monday and another #docraftsmonday over at the Docrafts official Facebook page.

I shaped the card using the Extra-Large Square Parenthesis nesting dies form Xcut. I the covered it with the Easter digital papers available in the  Creativity Club. I particularly like the chevrons on this one and so I decided every thing had to be purple to match.
The flower is a Big Bloom I spritz with Violet Spritzing ink but I will talk about how you can use the inks to colour coordinate things at a later date.

to make the flower I just took 3 big blooms and stuck them together. I then decorated the centre with a button and a bow, with a pearl in the centre because I like them and stick them on everything.

The sentiment was stamped onto a die-cut shape and its from the Bellisima range, I used the Dusky /rose ink pad from Artiste to keep in with the colour theme.

Docrafts Monday

Its the last day of March already, and today I have some a card  to share that I made using the new creativity club downloads.

1) Start by covering an A5 card blank with the Creativity club Easter part 1 digital paper.

2) Next cut out six small squares and six larger squares using the Xcut nesting dies.

3) Adhere a strip of ribbon across the card then layer the squares up using the 3d foam pads.

4) Cut out a larger scalloped edged circle and a smaller sized circle using the Xcut nesting dies. Layer them on top of each other.

5) Using the a5 flower die set cut out 2 flowers from felt, if you are using thick felt run then run it  through your die-cutting machine a few times to get an outline that can be cut out.

6) Adhere flowers together and stick down in the centre of the circles. cut out a sentiment and adhere to centre of flower.

7) Finish card by adding a bow and adhere an adhesive pearl.

Docrafts Monday

Another reason to start loving Mondays... Every Monday over at the official Docrafts Facebook page we will by sharing our projects with other crafters you can get involved here :https://www.facebook.com/docrafts?fref=ts. this week I have been crafting with the new Spring Green collection which is available as a free download for Creativity Club members.
I just love the colours in this collection and how versatile they are.
I used the type writer stamps by Urban stamps to make the sentiment and stuck them on with 3d foam dots to raise them off the card. the larger letters are the xcut carnival dies and matching stamps. I also used the sewing patches die from xcut and mounted the letters on to them.
I finished the project by covering it I stick on gems which I've take a shine to.
