Ephemoire Magical Flying Macarons Artist Trading Block

Hi all
I am back with another project for Ephemoire. This time i have an Artist Trading Block using the Magical Flying Macarons and Fairies Kit.

Product links

First of all you need to put the MDF ATB together and then paint it. Next use a nesting die to cut the papers to the correct size and stick those on.

Cut out all the bits and just stick them on with 3D foam tape.
Glue lace around the bottom.
Cut out the big fairy and then glue a dress pin to the back.
now take a cork, paint it, glue it on the top and stick the fairy in it.
Add Flying Macarons everywhere.
Glue pink cabochons around the top of the ATB.

Bleeding Art Challenge Rusty Picture Frame

Hello all

It is time for a new challenge over at Bleeding Art and this month the theme is Anything Goes.
I altered a picture frame which must of been lying around the house sor 4 years lol. I am determined to use up all this stuff.

I used DecoArt Texture Sand Paste, Quinacridone Gold Acrylic, Black gesso and Americana Decor Metallics Bronze.

First paint the whole frame in black gesso as this will stop the paint coming unstuck.
Once that has fully dried,Paint over a coat of bronze paint. It doesn't matter if a bit of the black gesso is showing as this adds to the grungy look. Finally take the texture sand paste and add it to the details on the frame. Paint the textured bits with quincodone gold paint.
