Craft Consortium Wildflower Meadow Dragonfly Greeting Card

Hello all

I have a new collection from Craft Consortium to show you today. It's called Wildflower Meadow and is by Hackney and Co. Lots of gorgeous illustrations recreated in patterned papers and stamps.

Cover a card with patterned paper from the Wildflower Meadow paper pad. Ink the edges with brown ink and spray with blue ink.

Cut two rectangles from matching paper, ink the edges and then place one across the card and then glue white thread to the center.

Stamp out the dragonfly onto card and colour in with ink. 

Glue down the second rectangle  and then glue the dragonflies down the centre.

Add a sentiment and decorate with matching sequins.

Start off by spraying a blank page with yellow ink and allow it to dry. Next paint orange ink on around the edges before using the brixk texture stamp to add another layer to the page.

Use the circle textures from the  Background Grunge set. Use embossing ink with the Ancient Amber embossing powder.

Next apply more stamps and embossing powder and then apply a stencil mask using black gesso. Once dry highlight some of the circles with a white paint pen.

Stamp out some large and small flower heads from the Art Journaling Mixed Media set and colour them in. Cut them out and glue them to the page. Add fine glitter to the centers and seal in with gloss enamel.

Craft Consortium Hackney & Co Wildflower Meadow Mixed Media ATC Set

Hello all

I have a set of ATCs made using the new Wildflower Meadow collection from Craft Consortium. 

Start off by covering the ATCS with gesso and then spray over the top with lime green, Blue and pink mist sprays. Allow one colour of ink to dry before spraying on the next colour.

Next add some stamping around the background.

Cut up pieces of lace, material and even dry baby wipes before spraying with ink and gluing onto the ATC.

Experiment with the layers until you are happy with them before gluing down.

Stamp out the insects from the Wildflower meadow stamp set and the mushrooms from the Winter Woodland set. Colour them with ink and then cut them out once the ink has dried.

Place the pieces onto the ATCS and once stuck down, decorate with gems and sequins.

Canvas Corp Brands Plays Well With Octopus Time From Blank Page Muse

Hello all

I have a new set of ATCs and a tutorial using Canvas Corp Brands and The Blank Page Muse Stamps.

Glimmer Mist - Patina

Chalkboard Mist Paint - Inchworm

High Impact Metallic Paint - Rose Gold

High Impact Metallic Paint - Copper

Architextures™ Junque Pack - Warehouse

The Blank Page Muse Octopus Time Stamp Set

Archival Ink Sepia, Turquoise and Navy Blue 

Use a Gelli Plate to add splodges of HIgh Impact Paint.

Once dry spray with Patina and Inchworm mist spray and allow i to dry.

Apply a stencil mask to the background using modeling paste

Dry brush on some Rose Gold and Copper High Impact Paint

Stamp out the Octopus Time images using coloured inks and then spray over with Patina mist spray

Tear up some tissue paper and spray with Patina and then glue to background.

Cut up the rusty tin texture from the Warehouse Junque Pack and sick it down.

Cut out the images and stick them to the ATC

Finish by adding words and pearls

Colourcraft Break The Rules Art Journal Page

Hi all

I am sharing my last project for the Colourcraft team. I will be bac to do some guest designing later in the year but for now i have an art journal page to share with you.

I used a stencil to create the face shape and then i added texture using different mediums.

I then added Orange, Lemon and Red Brusho Crystal Powders over the top and let the colours blend.

I then used a die cut to make the words anf painted them. I added decorative sand to parts of the background to add more texture.

Mixed Media ATCs Samantha K MDF Shapes

The background is gesso and crackle paint. Leave it to set and then add Brusho Powders mixed with water.

Apply texture stamps to the background.

Paint the MDF shapes and add stamps where possible.

I forgot to add in the video that i used gloss enamel on the tops of the clips to make the tops more robust. I painted the clip part and used a matte medium to seal it but whether the paint will stay on is another thing.

The Crafting pouch is good for untacking the glue and the Embellie Gellie makes picking up little bits easier.

I created these planner clips to mark the months out in my planner book.
