Craft Consortium English Garden Ephemera Card

Hello all

I have a lovely card to share using Craft Consortium's English Garden Collection and printable ephemera from Mixed Up Magazine.

Start off by covering the card with paper and then rough up the edges with scissors. Next ink the edges using a make up sponge.

Cut up a few strips of paper and cut out the ephemera. Rough all the edges and ink.
Place the pieces onto the card and once you are happy with the arrangement glue it all down.

Stamp out the mouse images onto watercolour paper using a permanent ink. Colour them in using watercolour pencils. Cut them out and adhere them to card.

Cut out one of the tags from the front of the English Garden.pad and ink it up before using it as a card topper. Stamp a small sentiment over the top of the tag and decorate with enamel stickers.

Thank you for visiting.

Craft Consortium Altered MDF Steampunk Birdhouse

Start off by giving the mdf pieces an under coat of gesso.
Next apply the decoupage papers with thinned out PVA glue.

Once it has dried, paint on texture sand paste and mix it with powdered cinnamon.
Omce this has set, paint over with red oxide paint. You can mix it with a little water to create different shades of rust.
The roof wast covered in a stencil mask first and once the modeling paste had set. It was then panted with quinacione gold acrylic paint.

The birdhouse was decorated with giant mdf cogs that have been painted with metallic paint and rust paste.

Stack up the cogs to create different looks

The Glittery Hands Box Tea and Cake Cookie Bunting

Hello all
I have a easy tutorial for you to follow on how to make a cookie themed bunting using the May box from The Glittery Hands Box.

Start off by rolling out some paper clay and then use the heart cutter to cut out the cookies.

Use a needle to add some holies and to create a scalloped edge. Poke a hole in the top to add the string.

Paint the cookies with acrylic paint. I went for a traditional cookie colour but you can choose anything.

Use a hot glue gun to add the icing. The glue will take a few minutes to set depending on how thick the icing is. Paint these your desired colour and leave to dry.

I cut the letters out of craft foam using an alphabet die and glued them on.

Paint heavy gel medium onto each cookie and sprinkle micro beads over them.

Once they are dry, tie some twine though the top and thread them onto the ribbon. Use mini pegs to hold them in place.

#THESTENCILFIEDJOURNAL Prompt No2

Hello all

I am back with Prompt 2 of the stencified journal challenge. I was waiting for my page to be worn by the weather.

I used The Musical Notes Mandala Stencil

Before being left outside

I had to wait for it to rain a bit as we have had a dry summer so far.

As you can see the rain has took a lot of the colour out and left this subtle wash of colour in the center.

Thank you for visiting and i will have prompt 3 up later this week.
